Requirements

  • 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience
  • Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance education preferred (e.g., industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience
  • Basic computer skills for logging information, processing daily work orders, completing documentation, and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Effective communication skills and basic math skills (including percentages, fractions, and measurements)
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; lift 20 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
  • Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop
  • Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling; frequent overhead work
  • Ability to work in temperatures from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees inside the plant; outside work may be needed
  • Must reside in the US (no sponsorship offered)

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and team
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
  • Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
  • Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
