Minimum of 1 year of mechanical work experience documented in work history or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be combination of employers)
Basic mechanical or maintenance skills
Knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing
Able to read and understand assignments
Able to communicate orally and in writing
Willing to use basic hand tools, various electrical and pneumatic power tools, and equipment
Willing to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet
Willing to stand for long periods of time and withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
Willing to hear/respond to two-way radio
Willing to learn Tyson software for work orders and daily documentation
Willing to further education through outside training, company testing program, and vendor training

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
Maintaining a safe work environment
Adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Making work orders and filling out daily documentation in Tyson software
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
