Authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
Pass a Criminal Background Check
High School Diploma/GED
A&P license
Engine Run & Taxi (ERT) qualification
Airworthiness Release (AWR) qualification
SOJT - Train the trainer (SOJT-TtT) qualification
Minimum two (2) years aircraft heavy line maintenance experience
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Keep ERT, AWR, and SOJT-TtT certifications current
Ability to meet physical demands: stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, use hands/fingers for tools; lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs; work various shifts in 24-hour environment; exposure to noise, temperature, wind, light; work in confined areas; sit at computer; wear PPE; some travel; regular attendance
Report to work during national/state emergencies as essential services provider (unless prohibited)

Responsibilities

Lead other Technicians in day-to-day maintenance duties
Perform duties of a Maintenance Technician
Assume duties of Maintenance Supervisor when absent, as assigned
Lay out and assume control of quality and quantity of work assignments
Review log book for each RON or idle (3+ hours) aircraft for open write-ups and Service Check currency
Ensure work is performed safely per company policy, manufacturers’ manuals, and FAA requirements
Coordinate work and jobs in progress with oncoming mechanics during shift change
Ensure paperwork, tags, etc., are properly filled out and signed, including for parts removed
Maintain work areas in clean and orderly manner
Provide on-the-job training on procedures, safety, and work practices
Advise Maintenance Supervisor of problems causing work delays
Ensure maintenance personnel are qualified for assigned duties
Efficiently utilize manpower, adjust methods/procedures for continuous improvement in efficiency and production
Study technical material and guides to increase knowledge
Perform other duties as assigned
