Requirements

Two-year technical degree, or high school education or GED equivalent plus 5 years of manufacturing or inventory management experience
Forklift experience is preferred
Familiar with CMMS, inventory tracking and tagging systems
Knowledge of Windows applications including Excel and Word
Interpersonal skills

Ability to perform basic operations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Responsibilities

Operate the computerized maintenance management system, including administration of work orders, preventive maintenance logs, parts procurement, parts inventory, and reporting processes
Work closely with the maintenance team to develop and maintain equipment logs, preventive maintenance schedules, job plans, spare parts listings, and vendor lists
Maintain accurate records of all items in maintenance storeroom stock and ensure inventories are maintained at necessary levels
Monitor and maintain maintenance parts inventory at appropriate levels
Order, receive, unpack, check, store, and track merchandise specifically related to equipment/facility maintenance spare parts and supplies
Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying codes
Perform routine analysis of inventories, cycle counts, and make adjustments as needed
Store materials in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or in racks (may require lifting heavy cartons of various sizes)
Communicate closely with MRO Supervisor as it relates to KPIs and financial targets
Communicate with vendors and manufacturers on a regular basis for the procurement of goods, warranty returns, and other equipment control processes
Provide excellent customer service, assist with placing orders and handling outgoing shipments, answer questions, and solve related problems
Perform general office duties such as filing, making copies, sending faxes, answering phones, etc
Utilize personal computer and Maintenance Connection to input data regarding inventory, equipment, job plans, maintenance schedules, work orders, and other items
Compile reports and maintain accurate maintenance records for the department
Perform additional duties as assigned and support operations as needed
