Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working with multidisciplinary engineering & maintenance associates to achieve cost effective goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead equipment modifications to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective equipment performance
  • Foster strong relationships with external service providers and support the implementation of best-in-class maintenance practices across the site
  • Develop & execute activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions & facilitating cost down initiatives related to improving product costs, including training & instruction of appropriate team members for day-to-day floor support
  • Assist in identification of unacceptable performance through analysis & acquired technical knowledge of the product & process including waste & cost reduction
  • Assist in & learn process for preparing cost estimates, financially justifying projects, preparing budgets, reviewing design, supervising installation & commissioning
  • Assist in research of new equipment, systems & processes to advance plant operations
  • Gain understanding & assist to ensure safety, environmental & other regulatory compliances by working with appropriate associates on EHS issues, following the implementation of MSR’s & improving the communication across all relevant departments
  • Participate in contractor management process & periodically assist with contractor’s work to ensure that safe work practices & standard operating procedures are followed
