Requirements

Graduated or enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance program (C.A.T.S. program students preferred)
Experience and education listed on application or attached resume, with specific areas of study related to maintenance
Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
Willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis
Willing to work on feet for up to 12 hours
Willing to complete all required training for the job
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
Willing to learn Tyson SAP software for work orders and daily documentation

Responsibilities

Maintain and promote the Tyson Safety culture
Receive training and experience in Maintenance
Perform various duties as required/assigned
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery to keep it running for continuous production
Work on equipment with instruction and first-hand experience in industrial maintenance
Communicate with Team Members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers
Practice safety standards, policies, and procedures, using provided PPE
