Pass Maintenance Safety Test
Special lockout/tagout training
Currently enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance Program OR 6 months of experience in Industrial Maintenance OR one year of classroom training from a Technical College OR graduated from a technical college with a certification in Electronics Technology or Industrial Maintenance Technology (industrial maintenance includes mechanic, fabricator, electrician, or plant maintenance)
Applicants from Washington, Benton, Madison counties in AR or McDonald County in MO
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Basic knowledge of math to utilize blueprints and plant layouts
Must have basic hand tools
Physical abilities: Standing/walking majority of shift, stooping/bending, climbing ladders/steps, lifting to and in excess of 70 pounds
Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment as directed by supervisor
Maintain and repair equipment as directed
Analyze potential problems before downtime results
Prepare and/or read layouts for designing and building projects
Perform basic welding and cutting tasks
Assist outside contractors with special projects
Operate power tools, welders, grinders, etc
Develop thorough knowledge of plant layout, tools, parts, and equipment
Troubleshoot basic electric, including motors, starters, etc
Work as directed by supervisor
