Requirements

  • Able to provide certificate/card of Journeyman status
  • Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting or associates degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and programming
  • Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits
  • Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
  • Able to work with computer-based maintenance software
  • Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems for the production facility
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, distribution, and control equipment at the plant
  • Working with computers, line drives, PLCs, and other technical schematics
  • Organizing work area, tools, and parts
  • Managing assigned work orders while complying with all safety rules, including lock, tag, and verify
  • Working in a team setting with other maintenance personnel
  • Working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment
  • Making necessary modifications and implementing test runs; conferring with product manager regarding test results and making additional alterations to machinery as required
  • Ensuring the safety of themselves and others by observing all local, state, and national electrical codes
