Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with CNC machining, including mill, lathe, and 5-axis systems
- 3+ years of experience with MasterCAM programming
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Brother, or Haas machine controls
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and lathes)
- Interpret and execute work based on detailed engineering drawings and GD&T
- Use MasterCAM to generate and modify CNC programs
- Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for optimal efficiency and precision
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, CMMs, bore gauges, etc.)
- Support manufacturing engineering in improving DFM, tooling paths, and process stability
- Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines consistently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate clearly with team leads and engineers
- Conduct minor machine maintenance and contribute to a clean and organized work area
