Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with CNC machining, including mill, lathe, and 5-axis systems
  • 3+ years of experience with MasterCAM programming
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Brother, or Haas machine controls
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Operate and program CNC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and lathes)
  • Interpret and execute work based on detailed engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Use MasterCAM to generate and modify CNC programs
  • Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for optimal efficiency and precision
  • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, CMMs, bore gauges, etc.)
  • Support manufacturing engineering in improving DFM, tooling paths, and process stability
  • Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines consistently
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate clearly with team leads and engineers
  • Conduct minor machine maintenance and contribute to a clean and organized work area
