Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
  • Ability to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
  • Basic to intermediate skill level on manual lathe (indicate part, turn ODs, and qualify ID)
  • Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
  • Basic communication skills in English and good command in Thai

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts by operating mechanical equipment
  • Assist with the setup, operation, and adjustment of various types of conventional or automatic machines including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other precision equipment
  • Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units
  • Provide problem recognition and solution selection among predetermined alternatives on simple work assignments
  • Follow simplified or highly patterned processes
  • Set-up and operate special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe/mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining-centers
  • Fabricate metallic/nonmetallic parts that hold to high-quality machine standards
