Requirements

At least 3 months Machine Operator experience within the last 6 months (can be a combination of employers)
Ability to effectively communicate in English or English/Bilingual across all levels
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to become Lock Out/Tag Out certified
Computer skills preferred
Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 100 lbs
Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Provide Social Security Number on application

Responsibilities

Ensure all production equipment is set up and prepared per production schedule, including labels, batter, stuffing, etc
Oversee machine operations and make minor equipment adjustments
Perform metal detections and other quality and USDA required inspections and paperwork
Perform basic maintenance on machines and contact Maintenance Mechanic if necessary
Interact with Line Leads to determine equipment set-up and operation
Make machine adjustments when production changeovers occur
Work on production line and ensure product standards
Provide assistance to lower-level team members and train new or recently promoted team members
Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process and proper ingredients/supplies are used
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if maintenance is required
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
