Requirements

Must be flexible to work both afternoon & overnight shifts
Must be flexible to work either 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts plus weekends/overtime as needed
High School Diploma / GED
1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment operating equipment
Ability to use measuring devices, such as micrometers and gauges
Mechanical interest and aptitude
Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. and maneuver large, cumbersome equipment
Ability to do data entry and operate a computer
Ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, grip or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
Ability to push/pull up to 130 pounds of force
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to work in hot temperature conditions
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment such as forklifts on occasion
Export compliance eligibility (U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, asylee/refugee, or approved for export license)

Responsibilities

Operate various machines in the production areas while adhering to safety requirements, quality parameters, and in-process checks
Follow detailed parts instructions and ensure that processing requirements are completed
Record process data as required by standard operating procedures
Troubleshoot minor problems with the equipment
Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally, using proper measuring equipment
Interpret visual specifications to recognize and classify defective material
Perform testing and inspection of materials and/or parts throughout the processing sequence
