Requirements

At least 3 months of operator experience documented in work history (can be combination from multiple employers)
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., dumping bags of spice)
Willing and able to push/pull 80 lb. film in cart to machine
Willing and able to perform physical demands: torso flexion 0-45 degrees, full bilateral arm extension, bilateral full hand grasp, standing at all times, use of both hands simultaneously
Willing and able to work in temperatures ranging from 38-50 degrees (potentially wet conditions)
Wear required PPE: steel-toed shoes, bump cap, hearing protection
For previous Tyson employees: minimum 180-day rehire waiting period, limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through production process
Ensure proper ingredients/supplies are used on the line
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
Maintain safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies/procedures
Learn and use new EIM System and handheld scanners
Perform any other duties assigned
