Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with a strong preference for leadership experience. They should have a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, model deployment strategies, and data processing techniques, along with experience working with Big Data systems and cloud computing platforms.

Responsibilities

The Machine Learning Engineer Tech Leader will design, deliver, and maintain significant features in data pipelines, ML processing, and/or service infrastructure, optimize software performance, and craft sound API design while driving integration between data layers and customer-facing applications. They will also be responsible for creating and using eBay’s Product Knowledge system, conducting A/B tests in production, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
