Candidates should possess five or more years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering impactful machine learning solutions. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field is required.
The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, deployment, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of machine learning software solutions, collaborating closely with data scientists to build and support ML data pipelines, platforms, and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include architecting end-to-end solutions for accelerating experimentation and model building, creating microservices and APIs for serving ML models and services, designing and implementing potential products and proof-of-concepts, working with engineering, product, and newsroom teams to define and deploy new ML/AI products, exploring and onboarding new platforms, technologies, and algorithms, and managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
