Requirements

Candidates must be able to relocate to the Bay Area and possess work authorization eligibility for the USA, with experience in character and rigging development for LAL projects, and a strong understanding of animation pipelines. Applicants should also be able to collaborate with external vendors’ rigging and animation teams and maintain rigging consistency.

Responsibilities

The Digital Asset Technical Director will support the planning, creation, and review of high-quality character assets and rigs, guide the development of character assets to meet specific requirements, and collaborate with external vendors’ rigging and animation teams. The CG Supervisor will work closely with production leads to align and communicate with internal departments, develop pipeline tools, and assist in animation enhancements and look development. The Color Key Artist will paint lighting keys using still frames from animatics and assist the Digimatte team in creating mattes and background elements for final shot production under the artistic supervision of senior artists.
