Requirements

  • Ability to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) and/or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) three times per week (hybrid work arrangement)
  • Expertise in analyzing warranty data, OnStar telemetric data (DTC, SOC), dealer warranty claims, and customer surveys
  • Proficiency with multiple dashboards for tracking battery SOC and data analysis
  • Familiarity with GM workflow systems to drive work and accountability
  • Capability to lead indirect leadership, coordinate globally (prioritizing GMNA), and engage regional QRD engineers
  • Willingness to travel as needed for global assignments

Responsibilities

  • Analyze warranty data & OnStar telemetric data, categorize, compile, and track claims by MOB (Make Or Buy)
  • Lead warranty top issue reviews with stakeholders to communicate status and request updates on issue resolution
  • Conduct close interaction with big-data Electric Power team for OnStar data analysis
  • Interact with and analyze incoming data via dashboards tracking battery SOC from plant to customer
  • Ensure issues are partitioned correctly, captured in tracking systems, and drive temporary/permanent design changes to closure
  • Track trends, Pareto issues, and prioritize issue resolution
  • Follow up on Feld Product Reports (FPRs), provide 24-hour fast response to launch calls and service garage issues
  • Compile and understand in-plant data to identify and contain emerging issues before they reach the field
  • Participate in and contribute to Lessons Learned activities, feeding learnings into Virtual, Prototype, and Launch programs
  • Maintain Top 20 issues list and report to CPIT/Focus CPIT/daily calls as needed
  • Support read-across (common issue) sharing activities between vehicle programs
  • Keep Product Warranty Engineers, Continuous Product Improvement Teams, and System Management Teams updated on QRD status
  • Provide post-launch support for field issue identification, analyze 12V data, and report to TAC
  • Compare customer performance to CTF fleet performance
  • Balance tasks, prioritize to achieve corporate quality goals across GMNA and other regions, while minimizing costs
