Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
6+ months of prior relevant experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment
Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing
Knowledge of liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
Knowledge of hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
Responsibilities
Complete opening side duties: fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
Expedite guests' drink orders and provide exceptional beverage and bus service
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management
Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Ensure all service is performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures
