Clear understanding of merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols
Ability to maintain and review the AP Alert Binder according to AP standards
Knowledge of BEST procedures (bottom of the cart, electronics, self-checkout, and thanking the member), including cross-checking merchandise to register receipts and verifying high dollar value items
Ability to audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery according to company procedures
Knowledge of repack awareness guidelines for inspecting known repack articles
Ability to monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club
Knowledge of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) response procedures
Ability to inspect team members', members', and vendors' bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes

Responsibilities
Perform merchandise protection procedures and monitor entrance and exit activity
Provide superior customer service to members, including greeting, assisting, and thanking members in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner
Resolve member concerns in a courteous and timely manner and escalate issues to management when necessary
Record register receipt discrepancies and notify front line to rectify the situation
Ensure execution of repack awareness guidelines by inspecting known repack articles
Respond to EAS alarms according to established procedures
Maintain high standards of safety for members and team members
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Deliver service excellence, resolve and de-escalate member concerns, and ensure a safe and positive environment
Work as a team to achieve goals, deliver GOLD club standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate; Grand opening look; clean and organized), and understand department performance reporting
