Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience leading supply chain or logistics functions within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional departments to achieve both administrative and operational goals
  • Experience leading and motivating others, either formally or informally
  • ERP system proficiency; SAP preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support various operational disciplines in a manufacturing plant, including warehouse operations, demand planning, and scheduling
  • Oversee operations and inventory levels in the Spare Parts Room
  • Coordinate with Plastipak’s customers to evaluate and set production schedules
  • Monitor the storage and movement of raw materials; maintain accurate and updated inventory levels and cycle counts
  • Uphold and contribute to a positive work environment, where safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction are top priorities
  • Manage and develop a team of four direct reports within the logistics department and spare parts room
