Requirements

  • Graduation in Administration, Production Engineering, or Logistics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics/Distribution/Operations
  • Solid knowledge and experience in warehousing and distribution best practices
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially Excel (Macros and VBA)
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, with emphasis on WMS
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Knowledge and experience in cost analysis and negotiations with suppliers, services, and carriers
  • Experience in developing calculations, metrics, and dashboards for performance tracking and leadership presentation
  • Experience in project management and continuous improvement processes (Kaizen, Six Sigma, PDSA, "As Is" – "To Be", change management, project management tools)
  • Intermediate English
  • Advanced Office package and ERP system knowledge
  • Project management skills
  • Desirable: Green Belt certification
  • Desirable: Postgraduate or specialization courses in Logistics and Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Monitor logistics distribution activities in own and third-party warehouses (3PL), supplier and carrier performance, analyze and propose improvements in processes, systems, and tools
  • Track and ensure proper flow of processes and procedures
  • Prepare controls, reports, and KPI dashboards
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to reduce and optimize the supply chain costs with service and input suppliers
  • Support inventory control program management
  • Track and plan distribution operations, receiving, storage, stock accuracy, shipping, and transportation, ensuring process efficiency
  • Assist in managing projects and area improvement initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies
  • Evaluate physical storage structure and conditions according to product characteristics, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Develop reports and KPI dashboards to propose process and supplier improvements
  • Periodically review procedures and work instructions (SOPs) and act on process improvements and remodeling
  • Monitor operations in own and third-party warehouses to ensure compliance with operational requirements and contractual agreements, respecting all Thermo Fisher procedures
  • Schedule stock counts according to current policies and procedures
