Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel (preferred)

Responsibilities

Support, monitor, and manage carriers and logistics optimization in the TMS system for both internal and external customers across all North American locations
Assist and audit all shipments for completeness, accuracy, and delivery requirements
Cross train in shipping, receiving, and material handling/storage
Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area
Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination or signal crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination
Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
Remove samples of materials, label with identifying information, and take samples to laboratory for analysis
Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace
Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence
Perform other duties as assigned
