Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Strength, endurance, and ability to work in extreme temperature conditions (including cooler and freezer areas as low as -5 degrees)
  • Ability to read alpha and numeric codes from load sheets
  • One-year recent experience in highly physical, labor-intensive occupation preferred
  • Must satisfactorily complete all company-mandated training and assessments

Responsibilities

  • Perform all pre-shift duties including safety check of all equipment
  • Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned
  • Ensure trailer cleanliness before loading to confirm it is clean, has proper temperature, and is ready for loading
  • Build pallets according to stops and securely wrap them to avoid damage during transport
  • Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated products before loading
  • Confirm load diagram is completed and submitted
  • Load all outbound orders into designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards, ensuring products are safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency
