Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Strength, endurance, and ability to work in extreme temperature conditions (including cooler and freezer areas as low as -5 degrees)
- Ability to read alpha and numeric codes from load sheets
- One-year recent experience in highly physical, labor-intensive occupation preferred
- Must satisfactorily complete all company-mandated training and assessments
Responsibilities
- Perform all pre-shift duties including safety check of all equipment
- Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned
- Ensure trailer cleanliness before loading to confirm it is clean, has proper temperature, and is ready for loading
- Build pallets according to stops and securely wrap them to avoid damage during transport
- Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated products before loading
- Confirm load diagram is completed and submitted
- Load all outbound orders into designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards, ensuring products are safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency
