Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 4 years of technical experience in maintaining automated system platforms for the intelligence community, demonstrating success with Linux, database system administration, and scripting. Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are mandatory, along with experience in open source and custom application deployments and maintenance, including ATO and patching for cyber compliance, and the ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team.

Responsibilities

The Linux System Administrator will maintain system and hardware operations with the technical team, improve system operations and functionality through monitoring and optimization of the hardware platform, track and remediate cyber vulnerabilities and apply system patches and rollbacks, implement STIG guidance to support ATO sustainment efforts, troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues, integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipelines, embrace the agile mindset and planning cadence, communicate with technical teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively, and work onsite in a SCIF 80% or as needs dictate.
