Excellent communication skills are essential for conveying information about developer tools and insights from community discussions. A track record of open source contributions or public application development is preferred, as well as experience in presenting developer-focused content at conferences or meetups.
The Lightning Developer Evangelist will engage with the global Lightning developer community, understanding their priorities and how Lightning Labs can assist them. They will attract new developers by creating projects that showcase possibilities within the Lightning Network and organize opportunities for new developers to get involved. Additionally, the role involves organizing developer and community calls to relay updates from Lightning Labs and supporting existing customers by addressing software issues and explaining new features.
