Requirements

5+ years of experience in graphic/visual design for print and digital
4+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator software
1+ year of experience with Adobe XD or other prototyping software, HTML, video editing tools, and other web design applications
FDA content submission experience
Demonstrable creative portfolio for print and digital
Experience directing and overseeing teams of designers
Experience working as a creative lead for a creative agency or global pharmaceutical company supporting both Canadian and US client business
Experience creating and producing content for the life sciences industry, across brands and manufacturers
English proficiency (required for interactions with stakeholders across Canada, US, and global footprint)
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, storyboard, prototype, design and oversee creation of world-class print, digital and other creative solutions
Pitch and present work demonstrating understanding of strategic objectives, rationale for creative support, and ties to larger business goals
Own the design and creative development of all assigned projects from conceptual stage through production, ensuring highest quality throughout
Keep abreast of market branding and related standards such as FDA guidelines; review and identify requirements to ensure alignment with regulatory and legal guidelines
Provide critical and productive feedback to support design team learning and growth
Collaborate with Creative Manager to provide guidance and recommendations for project plans and timelines
Demonstrate passion for emerging technologies and stay abreast of new design/development trends in the digital landscape
Effectively accomplish goals while working in a team-based, remote environment
