Requirements

Candidates should possess demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based research, along with knowledge of all state/federal initial and renewal licensing requirements and processes for all clinical positions. Two years’ experience with physician group (NCQA) and/or hospital credentialing (JCAHO) is required, and a High School/GED Diploma is necessary, with a bachelor’s degree being a plus. Knowledge of certification requirements, regulations, company credentialing policy & procedures, and state and federal regulations is also expected.

Responsibilities

As a Licensing Specialist, you will consult clinicians to obtain credentialing information, prioritize assigned tasks and submit applications within metric benchmarks, effectively communicate application guidance and status updates, proactively identify and escalate processing roadblocks, and execute system data-entry updates to track tasks and licensing status for reporting purposes. You will also perform all required primary source verifications per NCQA guidelines and collaborate with credentialing, onboarding, and clinical teams to support our mission and benefit patients and insurance partners.
