Requirements

  • 1+ years Licensing experience with proven track record of success
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Commercial VL licensing programs particularly EA, MPSA, MCA & CSP
  • High school diploma
  • Advanced English (C1)
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft or other Cloud and Online Services solutions
  • Experience working with & understanding negotiations in licensing contracts
  • Positive attitude: Collaborative, leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Passion for working with Microsoft technology and accredited partners
  • Experienced in establishing trusted advisor/strategic consultant relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to help customers make the best choices in tough macroeconomic conditions

Responsibilities

  • Work with Renewal Specialist (RS) and Partner Connection Manager (PCM) to secure customer renewal agreements on time
  • Identify licensing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs
  • Review customer’s existing licensing portfolio to understand their licensing position
  • Provide guidelines and lead the Licensing Consultancy & Deal Construct Support team for selected Microsoft Commercial Volume licensing programs (EA, EAS, SCE, OLP, OV, OVS, MPSA, CSP, MCA-E, OSPA China)
  • Coordinate with team, RS, and PCM to secure renewals, identify up-sell/cross-sell, and sell new customer agreements based on demand triggers
  • Know the customer’s business & licensing scenario
  • Know the customer’s stakeholders & timelines
  • Identify potential up-sell and cross-sell scenarios for the customer
  • Prepare value proposition for scenarios with the RS
  • Leverage Microsoft resources such as Deal books and Solution assessment workshops
  • Gather customer’s desired business outcomes now and in the future
  • Migrate customers to other Microsoft programs where possible
  • Ensure customers are delighted by Microsoft products and services
