Requirements

Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing program
Minimum six months experience preferred
Current practical nurse licensure from the state of Minnesota
CPR certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the residential hospice
Perform all duties related to daily care, including medication administration, meal preparation, daily personal cares, and procedures as designated by the Case Management RN’s
Interact with patient’s family and visitors in a compassionate and respectful manner, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
Assume responsibility for the outcome of nursing care provided to patients in their homes or in facilities
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served
