Responsibilities

Join the Welding Fabrication Team at the Peterborough facility
Work from detailed technical drawings to cut, shape, and weld metal plates to precise specifications
Use tools such as plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, guillotines, and welding machines (MIG, TIG, and MMA)
Operate heavy machinery (description cuts off, but implied in role)
Contribute to the fabrication and assembly of metal components for manufacturing equipment and prototype items for research and development projects
Combine on-the-job training with college-based learning (at least 20% of working hours) to achieve Level 3 Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Metal Fabricator standard
Embed in a team to solve real-world problems from day one
