Requirements

  • Law degree (LLB or JD) with 2+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, commercial law, IP, and employment basics
  • Clear, concise legal and business writing
  • Eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and redline contracts including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, employment offers, NDAs, and more
  • Support sales, HR, finance, and product teams with fast-turn legal edits and feedback
  • Maintain and improve contract template library
  • Help structure legal workflows that balance speed, risk, and internal approvals
  • Occasionally assist with compliance research, privacy updates, or IP documentation
