This role is critical in managing leave of absence and accommodations programs for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines and CrowdStrike’s leave policies. The analyst will support employees, managers, and third-party administrators.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable and experienced in leave of absence and accommodation programs.
- Understanding of federal and state leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
- Experience with HR systems and software for managing leave cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Third-Party Administrators (TPA).
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track employee leave and accommodation cases.
- Assist in the leave administration process, ensuring compliance.
- Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and third-party administrators.
- Collaborate with HR and management to resolve complex leave-related issues.
- Advise on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and disability benefits.
- Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees after extended leave.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on leave policies and procedures.
- Partner with Payroll to resolve pay discrepancies related to leave claims.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Confer, coordinate, negotiate, and partner with LOA TPA, HR, Legal, Payroll, Managers, Benefits, Team Members, and other departments/systems as appropriate.
