  • Skating proficiency (ability to teach U.S. Figure Skating curriculum)

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Operate the learn to skate program, including program growth, registration, staffing, and teaching
  • Instruct skating to students and classes using the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum in a fun and friendly manner
  • Create new business opportunities, including figure skating club, holiday shows, camps, clinics, and competitions
  • Provide great customer service and maximize the student experience
  • Manage part-time staff, ensuring facility policies and procedures are met
  • Work closely with ice rink manager to develop operating budgets and goals
  • Promote and represent the facility positively at all times
  • Understand and apply Operating Principles; own the customer experience; know products/services; win as a team; participate in Net Promoter System; drive results and growth; respect inclusion & diversity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
