Requirements

  • Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Testing (comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
  • Proven interpersonal skills (for individual contributor or early people leader role)

Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory and field validation testing, inspection, and data acquisition for product and service design/validation
  • Design and construct test facilities, instrumentation systems, and develop test software
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use prior experience/expertise to execute policy/strategy
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of key business drivers to accomplish work
  • Understand how own team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
  • Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters (with guidance), prior experience, and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks
  • Access technical skills and analytic thinking to solve problems, using multiple internal sources outside own team for decisions
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members (as individual contributor or early people leader who can hire/develop talent)
  • Contribute to technical improvement of existing products and components
  • Impact departmental operations through planning/execution within standard functional practices/procedures (with some autonomy and guidance)
