Requirements

Expertise in Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus)
Proficiency in Java (to read legacy code)
Expertise in Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a plus)
Experience with Coroutines (or RxJava)
Knowledge of Software Architecture (MVVM or similar)
Experience with Unit testing and UI tests
Proficiency in XML
Self-driven, able to work with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
Passion for quality and strong attention to detail
Ability to create fluid visual interactions and implement mobile user experience patterns
Ability to work directly with the client to ensure technical feasibility of requirements
Knowledge of Service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures
Experience with Test-driven development and continuous delivery
Focus on Metrics, performance, and operational aspects
Willingness to work onsite in London (Paddington) three times a week

Responsibilities

Discuss technical architecture and design
Develop and maintain features by collaborating with the client as one single team
Write testable code and ensure test coverage stays at the agreed level
Document your code
Take ownership of your code from development to deployment and maintenance
Mentor junior engineers
Diagnose issues in production and devise solutions
Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks
Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation
