Requirements

4+ years of experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus
Strong expertise with Liquid, theme development, and custom Shopify app creation
Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), and experience with React or Vue
Experience working with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and headless commerce architectures
Familiarity with ecommerce flows: products, inventory, carts, checkout, customers, and orders
Experience with version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD workflows
Strong communication skills and experience working with U.S.-based teams (a strong plus)

Responsibilities

Evaluate business requirements and UX/UI designs to define technical tasks aligned with best practices
Participate in discovery, estimation, planning, and sprint cycles with Product Owners and Tech Leads
Develop high-quality Shopify storefronts using Liquid, modern JavaScript, and Shopify APIs
Implement and maintain custom themes, apps, integrations, and performance optimizations
Ensure quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA, backend)
Stay up-to-date with Shopify ecosystem updates, trends, and tooling
