Requirements

Candidates are required to have over eight years of professional software engineering experience, a comfort level working up and down the stack, and experience leading full-stack engineering teams while fully owning features. Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, are essential, along with experience at a startup, financial technology firm, or lending software company, which is preferred. Advanced proficiency in Python (especially Django or DRF), JavaScript, and React is also desired.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead a team of full-stack software engineers, operate as a player-coach by contributing directly to the product, provide mentorship and engineering perspective across the organization, collaborate with product teams on release targets and sprint plans, and lead greenfield development. You will also plan, develop, implement, and iterate on new features and new products, taking part in code reviews and testing.
