Requirements

Candidates must possess a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with at least 4 years of web development experience. Required skills include building consumer-facing single-page applications in JavaScript, developing rich user interfaces with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, and building services using REST and GraphQL. Advanced English proficiency is also necessary. Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD, unit testing, and Cypress tests is a plus, as is familiarity with A/B testing and software deployment processes.

Responsibilities

The Lead Software Engineer will design and build robust software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and identify business impacts. This role involves acting as a technical leader, setting best practices, and leading architectural discussions. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, prioritizing tasks to deliver high-value initiatives, mitigating risks, managing AWS infrastructure, and improving the performance of the Content Portal and CoCo applications. The position also requires contributing to a collaborative culture, building quality products, and providing on-call support.
