Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
  • Master’s degree (MS) in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chromatography process development for antibody purification
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in leading or mentoring lab-based teams
  • Understanding of protein structure-function relationships
  • Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

  • Support the setup and growth of the new lab facility in Dongtan
  • Lead chromatography-based purification process development for monoclonal antibodies
  • Design and execute bench-scale experiments using AKTA and other chromatography systems
  • Analyze samples using UPLC, ceSDS, ELISA, PCR, and other analytical tools
  • Develop packing protocols for chromatography columns from lab to production scale
  • Maintain accurate records, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly
  • Ensure lab safety and operational excellence
  • Mentor and potentially lead a small team of scientists and technicians
