Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
- Master’s degree (MS) in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chromatography process development for antibody purification
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Preferred:
- Experience in leading or mentoring lab-based teams
- Understanding of protein structure-function relationships
- Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Support the setup and growth of the new lab facility in Dongtan
- Lead chromatography-based purification process development for monoclonal antibodies
- Design and execute bench-scale experiments using AKTA and other chromatography systems
- Analyze samples using UPLC, ceSDS, ELISA, PCR, and other analytical tools
- Develop packing protocols for chromatography columns from lab to production scale
- Maintain accurate records, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly
- Ensure lab safety and operational excellence
- Mentor and potentially lead a small team of scientists and technicians
