Candidates should possess 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role, a strong background in test automation frameworks utilizing Playwright, TypeScript, or similar tools, and experience leading QA efforts within an agile product development environment.
The Lead QA Engineer will lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers responsible for testing across multiple application teams, define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and tooling across the SDLC, drive the implementation of robust automated testing frameworks, foster a culture of quality through collaboration with engineering and product teams, establish and maintain clear quality metrics and provide regular reporting, ensure test coverage meets standards, encourage exploratory testing, own developing appropriate test suites, continuously improve QA processes, and stay current with industry trends.
