Responsibilities

  • Leads, facilitates, and coordinates cross-functionally to identify and resolve risks and opportunities across the Materials Plan to support Finished Goods delivery for a large Sport and material class alignment
  • Collaborates with upstream partners to provide clear, timely materials demand signals for Footwear materials
  • Analyzes Footwear materials demand and capacity, executing mitigation processes to ensure on-time production of materials from key vendors
  • Sets and operationalizes material lead time strategy in concert with materials and finished goods partners
  • Coordinates and operationalizes a cross-functional seasonal readiness offense for Sport alignment and material class, in partnership with supporting Sr Planner
  • Represents Materials Planning & Sourcing as a subject matter expert (SME) at key cross-functional stakeholder engagements or special projects
  • Partners with Materials Planning Director and Global Material Planning & Sourcing Leadership team to create future capabilities, including developing and implementing new strategies for responsive, flexible materials supply chain to drive on-time delivery
  • Collaborates with Materials Planning & Sourcing leadership and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement in line with Material SC strategy
  • Identifies, scopes, and partners with Tech & Analytics teams to develop new analytics and/or systems capabilities
  • Manages mid to long-range plan health, understands driving forces impacting the material forecast, and coordinates and communicates recommended strategies to support on-time delivery
