Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, with a strong focus on computer vision. Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is required, along with proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong understanding of MLOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines are also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for owning Motorway’s machine vision capabilities, including the development, deployment, evaluation, and maintenance of computer vision models in production environments. They will lead the development of innovative GenAI applications, particularly focusing on API usage and RAG, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Additionally, this role involves managing and mentoring other ML practitioners, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of ML solutions, and overseeing the image management pipeline.
