Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience depending on the degree. An active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, automated provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform, containerization technologies like Docker and Podman, and Kubernetes management solutions like EKS and Rancher is necessary. Basic knowledge of Linux System Administration, Python, and Linux Shell scripting is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Lead DevSecOps Engineer, you will design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing GitLab or other CI/CD systems, supporting AWS toolsets in an unclassified environment and maintaining multiple CI/CD environments at various classification levels. You will configure CI/CD environments for application performance, security monitoring, and alerting, act as a point of contact with the corporate IT organization to ensure infrastructure toolsets are configured and compliant, and advocate for DevOps fundamentals while implementing solid software development processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying and monitoring Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations.
