Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in data modeling, data quality management, and data architecture. Knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies is highly desirable, and experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Governance Analyst will lead and manage data governance initiatives, ensuring timely completion and delivery. They will communicate and present data governance initiatives and progress to senior management, author data policies, processes, and procedures, monitor and audit data governance processes, and partner with Data Stewards to ensure compliance. Additionally, the role involves leading Business and Functional Data Working Groups, advocating for data governance initiatives, and providing training and support to stakeholders to promote data literacy and accountability across the organization.
