Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT administration roles. A basic understanding of computer security concepts, including Identity & Access Management, Network Security, and Application Security, is essential. The role requires working in a global 24x7 Cybersecurity Operation Center (SOC) with rotating shifts to ensure weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cyber Def Center Analyst will be responsible for real-time alert monitoring, service, and ticket management, providing Incident Response (IR) support, and conducting threat and vulnerability analysis. This role involves supervising the design and execution of cyber threat intelligence, penetration tests, phishing exercises, and security audits. Responsibilities also include reviewing threat intelligence sources, ensuring compliance with US laws and regulations affecting medical device cybersecurity, performing daily SOC compliance operations and health monitoring, and supporting security awareness training. The analyst will help create automation use cases, refine security monitoring tools, enhance incident detection and response strategies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry. Additionally, they will lead the team with clear deliverables, goals, feedback, coaching, and planning, participate in security projects, prepare reports on security incidents and trends, and participate in shift handover and performance analysis meetings.
