Ability to write Nuke gizmos and/or plugins (a plus)
Composed and able to work graciously under intense time pressure
Deep understanding of the general VFX pipeline
Previous experience in look development and sequence supervision (beneficial)
Ability to collaborate within, across and outside your show, and use situational awareness to make timely decisions for your show with the studio and the company in mind at all times
Submit a demo reel, shot breakdown, or equivalent showcasing your work, along with a current resume
Responsibilities
Work with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots
Work with Production in the estimation of schedules, and in staffing requirements including assessing individuals’ skills and delegating work appropriately
Maintain the overall quality (look, colour balance) for shots and sequences
Independently provide solutions to technical and aesthetic problems, with minimal direction
Empower team members to collaborate inclusively, build community and a sense of belonging
Be accountable and responsible for the morale of the people on your show; be forthcoming with expectations of those on your show
Provide creative and technical guidance for assigned shots, collaborating with other departments
Maintain the overall quality for shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work
