Requirements

Banking accounting expertise: at least 5 years of experience with accounting standards in the Banking Sector
SAP systems mastery: Hands-on SAP implementation experience for banking reconciliation (Oracle/NetSuite also considered)
Operational problem-solving: Excel at debugging reconciliation issues and maintaining operations under pressure
Cross-functional collaboration: Proven experience with Product Managers and Risk teams, with strong English communication skills
Team leadership: Experience managing people while maintaining high operational standards in banking environments

Responsibilities

Lead SAP implementation hypercare phase & run for Core Banking System reconciliation, manage unreconciled transaction & suspense account cleanup
Draft and share accounting schemas with the General Accounting Lead for new banking features, along with Product Managers and Ledger teams, ensuring proper ARE and SAP configuration
Serve as a banking accounting expert on Banking Standards (PCEC / IFRS 9)
Manage and develop your 2 Financial Settlement Controllers in banking reconciliation operations while ensuring procedural compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally with BO, Ledger, Product, Risk & Compliance, ALM, Treasury, and Regulatory teams
