Requirements

  • B.E/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years relevant industrial experience
  • Knowledge of RF technology
  • Working knowledge of LabVIEW programming
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools (e.g., Ansys, MATLAB)
  • Programming in C, C# & Python desirable
  • Knowledge of In-Circuit Testing (ICT) & Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
  • Hands-on working knowledge of MRI systems and associated components desirable

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with Transfer program team to design and develop testing equipment, carry out equipment verification and associated software validation working along with Vendors
  • Write out clear ERS (Equipment requirement specifications)
  • Work along with suppliers for electrical component development and testing
  • Develop test hardware and programs, debug, carry out root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Work with engineering teams to generate requirements for Verification & validation activities for product assembly, processing, and testing
  • Support manufacturability actions in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs, including process capability assessment, process layout, tooling/equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution
  • Ensure QMS compliance through Qualification & Validation
  • Monitor productivity using Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are timely, cost-conscious and met with quality
  • Work along with cross-functional teams to implement quality actions
  • Carry out Engineering design change activities, if needed, by working in close coordination with SDEs, Architects, Principal Engineers and cross-functional teams of operations, quality, regulatory and service
  • Support regulatory audit readiness (CFDA, GQC, UL, CSA audit, RoHS compliance, MDR transition etc)
  • Support quality and regulatory audits (internal & External) as needed
  • Involve in mfg. standup as needed and support Factory initiatives (i.e., scrap, inventory reduction, Lean event)
