Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law
  • Expertise in labor and employment law
  • Experience in preparing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Knowledge of Plexus operations to support contract issue resolution
  • Ability to provide legal advice on labor/employment, government contracting, ethics, finance-related compliance, FDA compliance, privacy, IP, treasury/finance, IT, corporate development, risk management, insurance, and real estate
  • Strong business acumen to act as a respected advisor and partner with company functions

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts relevant to designated areas of expertise
  • Develop and apply knowledge of Plexus to support timely resolution of contract issues with balanced risk/reward
  • Provide dedicated support, advice, and counsel to assigned functions and/or business units
  • Support resolution of disputes with third parties
  • Provide support, advice, and counsel, and lead continuous improvement on legal/compliance matters (e.g., labor/employment, government contracting, ethics, finance-related compliance, FDA compliance, privacy)
  • Provide support, advice, and counsel, and lead continuous improvement on corporate matters (e.g., IP, treasury/finance, IT, corporate development, risk management, insurance, real estate)
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience to internal/external customers through effective guidance, solutions, listening, commitment delivery, learning/teaching, and respectful/passionate interactions
  • Exemplify and hold team accountable to Plexus Core Values; evaluate potential, drive succession planning, and ensure employee development/coaching
