Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law
Expertise in labor and employment law
Experience in preparing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts
Knowledge of Plexus operations to support contract issue resolution
Ability to provide legal advice on labor/employment, government contracting, ethics, finance-related compliance, FDA compliance, privacy, IP, treasury/finance, IT, corporate development, risk management, insurance, and real estate
Strong business acumen to act as a respected advisor and partner with company functions

Responsibilities

Prepare, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts relevant to designated areas of expertise
Develop and apply knowledge of Plexus to support timely resolution of contract issues with balanced risk/reward
Provide dedicated support, advice, and counsel to assigned functions and/or business units
Support resolution of disputes with third parties
Provide support, advice, and counsel, and lead continuous improvement on legal/compliance matters (e.g., labor/employment, government contracting, ethics, finance-related compliance, FDA compliance, privacy)
Provide support, advice, and counsel, and lead continuous improvement on corporate matters (e.g., IP, treasury/finance, IT, corporate development, risk management, insurance, real estate)
Deliver outstanding customer experience to internal/external customers through effective guidance, solutions, listening, commitment delivery, learning/teaching, and respectful/passionate interactions
Exemplify and hold team accountable to Plexus Core Values; evaluate potential, drive succession planning, and ensure employee development/coaching
