Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in a Laboratory environment
  • Basic understanding of Chemistry
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented

Responsibilities

  • Display actions which demonstrate a commitment to BHI’s core values of: Teamwork, Integrity, Performance, and Learning
  • Achieve Quality Assurance related objectives by participating in audits, document control, process related improvements, and disposition of non-conformances
  • Perform quantitative chemical measurements such as, but not limited to, pH, density, turbidity, viscosity, Karl Fischer, titrations
  • Conduct QC analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods as per applicable Standard Operating Procedure
  • Maintain QC data or specifications via designated database such as StarLims or SAP
  • Sustain daily, weekly, monthly, and annual calibrations/verifications for lab equipment
  • Provide guidance on product quality issues to Operations personnel, Product Management, and other appropriate parties
  • Accurately perform instructions relating to batch adjustments as needed
  • Maintain retain inventory of raw materials and finished products as well as disposals
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations
